What is PatriotHacks?
PatriotHacks is a collegiate hackathon held at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. For 36 hours, students from across the world will be free to enjoy plenty of workshops, activities, and networking events, along with free swag and food all weekend long. PatriotHacks is a space for innovators to play, learn, break, and revolutionize technology, all while building their resume and making memories that will last a lifetime. The event is free, and no experience is required to attend. Join us in our all new makerspace, also known as the MIX (Mason Innovation eXchange)!
Eligibility
All participants must be 18 years of age or older. Participants must currently attend a post-secondary education program or must have graduated from a program within one year or less. Teams of up to four people are allowed.
Requirements
On submission you may mark up to 3 different tracks for your project. The Byte sized track is reserved for 1st time hackers.
Prizes
$11,550 in prizes
Best Overall
Given to the three prizes that do best to fulfill the overall judging criteria.
First place: $350 check, per team member
Second place: $250 check, per team member
Third place: $100 check, per team member
